“I used to attend group classes at my local gym but was unsure how to perform many of the movements and would often end up sore, stiff, and injured from training. After getting a program from David & Nick at The Movement Loft I have finally started to get results in the gym and confidence in what I’m doing and why I’m doing it. Not only did I get stronger and build some muscle but I feel better in my body and some old aches and pains started to finally clear up.”

FAQs
What equipment will I need?
You will need access to a well-equipped gym to perform most of this program. Most commercial gyms will be suitable. Barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, gymnastics rings/TRX & medicine balls. The program will also include a BONUS at-home workout that can be performed with ZERO equipment.
Can I do this injured?
If you have been dealing with a chronic issue we would recommend getting clearance from your physio or doctor before starting the program. Small niggles as long as they do not restrict you should be fine to commence training. We would encourage you to reach out to us and we can advise you on how to proceed.
Can I do it more than twice a week?
Yes, however, we would not recommend more than 4 sessions a week. This will be dependant on the intensity of your training and how well you can recover from the work.
How do I know if I’m doing it right?
Upon purchase of the program you will be invited to join a private Facebook group where you can post your videos and questions for feedback. You can also tag us on Instagram if you are uploading videos of your training.
How many weeks should I do this for?
We would recommend at least 12 weeks. However, we designed this program to cover all bases of physical training and it can be carried forward indefinitely with and increase in intensity. If you have particular physical goals we would recommend getting in touch for an individualised program.
Will this make me stiff?
There is a common misconception that weight training will make you stiff and less mobile. This can be true but with good exercise selection and specific cues this program will actually make you MORE mobile whilst getting stronger and building muscle.
I’m a complete beginner, will I have somewhere to start?
Yes, each exercise includes easy ways to modify to make it either easier or harder, depending on your starting level. Certain exercises are part of a ‘progressions’ playlist, meaning as the weeks go on and you get stronger, it’s easy to progress the techniques.
